Saturday Special: Anti-King Anti-Knight Killer Sudoku

Anti-Chess Killer Sudoku contains a few hybrids, which combine multiple anti-chess variants. Here is a sample that is both Anti-King and Anti-Knight, meaning no two cells one king’s move OR one knight’s move away from each other can have the same value.     I got the two obvious outies, and then….stumped. I found some relationships between cells (this cell is 7 greater than that cell), and narrowed some digits down to two possible cells, but couldn’t get any further than that. I really have to figure out what I’m missing about these, because they look like great fun.

    I got this one! Took me a while, but when it hit me that the king/knight combination essentially covers a large circle around the digit, it went much better. Hoping to see more of these.

    Hey Roland and Aaron, sorry for my lack of response. Out of a desire not to spam djape’s site, I’ve refrained from posting my last few puzzles here, but I will resume seeing as how there is demand for them here 🙂
