Outside Sudoku are possibly my favorite Sudoku Variants type of puzzles. They engage you to think in a new way.
The rules of Outside Sudoku are:
All standard Sudoku rules applyThere are no starting clues inside the 9×9 gridThere are up to 3 clues for each column and row. Could be 0. Or 1. or 2. or 3.These clues tell you which numbers appear in the 3 closest cells for the corresponding row/column, IN ANY ORDER (not necessarily the order given).Since this is a Consecutive Sudoku variant, it comes with two extra rules:
If there is a vertical or a horizontal bar between two cells, it means that the numbers in those two cells must be consecutive (difference = 1).If there is no bar, numbers must be non-consecutive (difference between the two numbers must be greater than 1).That’s all! Enjoy it 🙂
