Outside Jigsaw Sudoku

Another novelty in 2010 – Outside Jigsaw Sudoku. Read the rules of Outside Sudoku first. And then, twist it a little – it’s a Jigsaw (Irregular) Sudoku puzzle! UPDATE: One clarification about the rules of Outside Jigsaw Sudokus: The clues tell you which numbers appear in the 3 closest cells in that row/column. They are not linked to (jigsaw) nonets. Oh, and I’ve posted the solution. Outside Jigsaw Sudoku for Monday, January 11, 2010 – Difficulty: BRAIN.

Ooof, that was a challenge! But I only had to erase the whole board once. 😉 I like this variation!

    DJ,

I like very much the Outside Sudoku variant.

For Outside Jigsaw Sudoku is the clues for a row/column tell you which numbers appear in the closest nonet (3×3 box)or the irregular shape nonet?

Are you intend to publish the solution.

Frank, I see where the confusion about the rules is coming from, so I’ve updated the post to clarify this. And I also posted the solution. 🙂

    Cheers!
