I have your puzzle book, “200 advanced sudoku puzzles”. I have come to the conclusion that you develop these puzzles by computer and also solve them by computer. I think I’m better than average at solving sudoku puzzles but when I get to the place where I have to use “trial error” method to find the correct sequence of numbers then I suspect you could not solve them either unless you use the computer program or guess, guess, guess!

None of the puzzles in my books require trial and error to solve, with one exception and that is: INSANE KILLER SUDOKU (because, believe it or not, people have requested such puzzles). But this is not what you are referring to.
I assure you that the puzzles in the book “Sudoku Medium – Hard: 200 advanced sudoku puzzles” do not require trial and error to solve. They actually do not even require some fancy sudoku solving techniques. All they require are naked/hidden singles, pairs, triplets and quads and row/column and box interactions.
I suggest that if you find a puzzle you can’t solve, try using pencil marks. Jot down all the possible digits that could go into a cell and then start eliminating one by one.
I am sure that this book is right for you. If you claim you are better than average sudoku solver, if you persist and learn new techniques, this will book will help you progress to an advanced level! 🙂
